NHS Scotland secures deal with FairWarning

National Health Services (NHS) Scotland, comprised of 14 area NHS boards throughout Scotland, has selected  FairWarning to monitor and protect NHS Scotland patients' privacy.

NHS Scotland has enabled every board in Scotland to implement patient privacy auditing and monitoring via FairWarning's technology, which monitors and protect patient privacy in EHRs. Advanced privacy protections will assist the NHS in its goal of providing clinicians with secure, reliable information about a patient regardless of where the patient is seen, St. Petersburg, Fla.-based FairWarning stated.

FairWarning will audit and monitor a variety of healthcare applications, the company added.
