CDI names new board chair, CEO
Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) has named Robert V. Baumgartner executive chairman of the board of directors and Tom Tomlinson as CEO and promoted two additional executives.
Baumgartner has served as Minneapolis-based CDI’s CEO and director for the past 10 years. He is replacing Kenneth Heithoff, MD, as chairman. Heithoff will continue to serve on the board of directors.
Tomlinson, who also was named to the board of directors, has been serving as CDI’s president and chief operating officer (COO) for the past year and has been with the company since 2002.
Along with the promotion of Tomlinson, CDI announced the additional executive promotions of Rick Long to COO and Tracy Wiese to chief marketing and sales officer.
As COO, Long will oversee national operations. Long joined CDI in 2004 and most recently served as senior vice president of operations, playing a role in helping CDI engage in new partnerships. In his new role, Long will continue to focus his business development expertise on strengthening and expanding CDI’s presence in its current markets.
Wiese joined CDI in 2002, became vice president of marketing and product management, and most recently served as senior vice president of management services. In that role, she led U.S. market expansion for CDI’s consulting and management services group.
