Datacore to develop cloud-based behavioral health EMR

Lorain County Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (LCADA) has partnered with cloud computing software developer Datacore Consulting to develop cloud-based EMR software for the behavioral health industry.

The application will assist in providing care to clients by alerting clinicians and intake specialists for appropriate items as well as providing procedures to cross reference scheduling and billing codes, according to the Independence, Ohio-based Datacore.

The application will help the clinicians at the Lorain, Ohio-based LCADA to focus on keeping clients engaged while spending less time on paperwork, Datacore added.
