Sectra and Electromek expand RIS/PACS distribution deal

Sectra has signed an agreement with its distribution partner Electromek Diagnostic Systems to expand the sales coverage area for RIS/PACS platforms into two states: Missouri and Illinois.

The agreement excludes the metropolitan areas of Kansas City and Chicago, which Sectra covers with a direct sales staff. Electromek Diagnostic Systems, a Troy, Ill.-based distributor of medical imaging equipment and software platforms, has installed more than 50 Sectra PACS at community hospital and clinic sites, according to the Linköping, Sweden-based developer of web-based IT systems for radiology, mammography and orthopedics.
