Cigna locks in MedSolutions for RBM

MedSolutions has entered a contract with health service and financial company Cigna to provide the company with radiology benefits management in various regions of the country, Cigna said.

Under the agreement, MedSolutions, a medical cost management company based in Franklin, Tenn., would become the exclusive radiology benefits management company for Cigna. The arrangement extends a 13-year partnership between MedSolutions and Philadelphia-based Cigna and would apply to radiology orders for MRI, CT and PET.
