FDA green-lights Konica wireless DR

The FDA has cleared Konica Minolta’s Aero DR wireless flat panel detector.

The 17 x 17-inch detector weighs less than eight pounds, according to Wayne, N.J.-based Konica. Aero DR systems meet international standards for both the 14 x 17- and 17 x 17-inch cassette sizes and fit existing wall stands and bucky trays without modifications.
