RSNA: aycan to debut iPad app, workstation updates

aycan Medical Systems (Booth #8903) is highlighting its mobile app and PACS workstation, among other technologies, at RSNA 2012 in Chicago, Nov. 25-30.

The aycan mobile app allows for remote viewing of radiological images on an iPad, and features JPEG2000 compression, automatic 256-bit AES encryption and multiple series comparison and synchronization.

The company will demonstrate updates to its OsiriX PRO workstation, including plug-ins for the iPad app, Advanced Hanging Protocols, Vessel Analysis, 4D ROI Statistics and Ejection Fraction.

aycan store and aycan print will also be showcased at RSNA. aycan store is a vendor neutral DICOM archive and distribution system, and aycan print is the company’s DICOM paper-print system, which features recent additions to out-put and pricing model options.
