Kansas City, Mo., children’s hospital to use Agfa’s DX-G CR system

Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics in Kansas City, Mo., has selected Agfa HealthCare’s DX-G CR system for use with pediatric patients.

The DX-G system features DirectriX CsBr needle-based phosphor detectors, NX Workstation with MUSICA2 Platinum Pediatric image processing, dose monitoring analysis and automated repeat/reject analysis, according to Agfa. The system also includes a tool like a deviation index that uses a color-coded dose bar to alert technologists if an image is under- or over-exposed
