MIM Software Highlights MIMcloud Portal

MIM Software Inc., a leading global provider of medical imaging software, announced today that they will be highlighting MIMcloud Portal™, a thin client licensing option for the entire MIM software suite at the RSNA in Chicago.

MIMcloud Portal makes it possible for any physician or staff person to access MIM and use it at the office, home, conferences, on vacation, anywhere in the world – on virtually any Mac® or Windows® computer with an Internet browser.

With MIMcloud Portal, all processing is done in the cloud and the user’s computer only needs to function as a simple display with interaction.  All images are encrypted and meet HIPAA’s requirements for viewing and storing PHI.

“We have had very positive customer reaction,” explains Dennis Nelson, Ph.D., MIM’s President and CEO.  “MIMcloud Portal can be used from our thin client server in the cloud or from a client-hosted on-site server.  In either case, the MIM licensing system remains the same and the benefits and cost-savings are significant.”
