Partnership brings mobile MRI to rural Montana patients

A long-standing agreement between three rural Montana hospitals—Monida Shared Imaging—recently added a second mobile MRI unit to bring state-of-the-art equipment to an areas that would be without, Kpax.com reports.

Currently, seven healthcare facilities participate in the venture, which, on their own, couldn’t have afforded individual MRI machines.

Increasingly, patients in rural areas are having to travel long distances to undergo medical imaging. This partnership allows mobile units to reach patients where they are at for crucial care.
