AngioDynamics CTO/senior VP resigns

An executive of AngioDynamics, which develops medical devices used by interventional radiologists, nephrologists and surgeons for the minimally invasive treatment of cancer and peripheral vascular disease, has announced his resignation after one year with the company.

In a statement from the company, Scott Solano, senior vice president and CTO, called his decision to leave as of Oct. 14 “a personal one,” adding that the Albany, N.Y.-based AngioDynamics is well-positioned for future growth.

“We are disappointed that Scott has decided to leave AngioDynamics,” said Joseph Devivo, president and CEO.
