Calgary Scientific forms partnership with Viatronix

Advanced visualization developer Calgary Scientific of Calgary, Alberta, has formed a strategic partnership with Viatronix of Stony Brook, N.Y.

According to the two companies, the partnership completes the Web enablement of Viatronix’s virtual colonoscopy applications. It involves the use of Calgary Scientific’s PureWeb platform to enable the Web-based use of advanced 3D applications such as Viatronix’s 3D product.

PureWeb will allow Viatronix’ users to utilize the V3D Colon application from anywhere, without having to download, configure or support any viewer of portal software from any client.
