CardioNet names Margolies senior VP of sales

CardioNet, a developer of wireless cardiac arrhythmia monitoring devices, has appointed Matthew Margolies as senior vice president (VP) of sales, reporting directly to Arie Cohen, president and CEO.

He replaces Manny Gerolamo who has left the company to pursue other interests, according to the Conshohocken, Pa.-based company.

Margolies joins from Cardinal Health, where he was most recently the VP of sales for the respiratory care division, CardioNet said. Prior to Cardinal, Margolies held management positions at Viasys Healthcare, which he joined in 2004 and was acquired by Cardinal in 2007. Before VIASYS he held executive sales and marketing positions at Covidien Health’s Mallinckrodt Imaging Division from 1990 to 2004.
