Carestream names Walt Linscott general counsel

Medical imaging provider Carestream Health has appointed Walt Addison Linscott as the company's general counsel and corporate secretary.

Linscott will lead Carestream's worldwide legal organization and act as a member of the company's senior leadership team. According to Rochester, N.Y.-based Carestream, Linscott, who will begin his position on Jan. 3, 2011, holds over 20 years of experience in the corporate legal health sector.

Previously, Linscott was the founder and managing partner of Thompson Hine LLP. He also served as chair of Thomson Hine's Life Sciences Practice Group and vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of Solvay Pharmaceuticals.
