CDC Software acquires Aussie software provider

Technology company CDC Software has acquired Australian-based software company PeoplePoint Software. The monetary terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

This acquisition may help Atlanta-based CDC Software expand into the aged care markets in Australia and New Zealand, CDC said.

PeoplePoint’s applications, which include PeoplePoint Clinical Care, PeoplePoint Community Services, PeoplePoint Retirement Villages and PeoplePoint Residential Management, address the full continuum of care and services offered to the senior community and deliver a single health record as a basis for all interactions, according to CDC.
