Charles Zelnick, MD, named CMIO at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital

Charles J. Zelnick, MD, has been named CMIO at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital in Blue Hill, Maine.

Zelnick, a primary care physician and medical director for the hospital’s Island Family Medicine practice in Stonington, Maine, is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, and completed his family practice residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

“I have no doubt that all of our patients will benefit from Dr. Zelnick’s knowledge of information systems in general, and electronic health records in particular,” Greg Roraff, president and CEO for Blue Hill Memorial, said in a statement. “Every industry today has been transformed by powerful information systems. ...
