Confirma Inc. this week unveiled three promotions

Dan Bickford has been elevated to vice president of sales and marketing. Prior to Confirma, Bickford served in senior sales and marketing positions with NexCura Inc., ESC Medical Systems and Neopath (now Tripath).

 Chris Wood has become vice president of research and development. Wood previously held various senior management positions with the former Picker International Inc. and Siemens Medical Solutions USA Inc. He has been involved with product development for the post-processing of medical images in CT, nuclear medicine, ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging.

 Mary Gatewood has been promoted to director of marketing. Gatewood previously held marketing positions at the former Pointshare (now Siemens Medical Solutions) and Ostex International.
