Dombrowe retires from Siemens U.K.

Gunter Dombrowe, managing director of Siemens Healthcare sector in the U.K. and healthcare sector lead for the northwest Europe cluster, will retire at the end of March.

During his more than 40-year career, Dombrowe pioneered the public-private partnership business for the healthcare sector, which is now being successfully adopted outside the U.K., Siemens said.

Dombrowe will be succeeded as managing director U.K. by Peter Harrison, currently U.K. divisional director, imaging and therapy systems. The role of healthcare sector lead for the northwest Europe cluster will be assumed by Stefan Schaller, currently head of strategy for the global syngo business unit.

All appointments are effective from April 1.
