Fischer Imaging selects Kirwan as new CFO

Fischer Imaging Corp. has named David Kirwan senior vice president and CFO.

Kirwan joins Fischer Imaging on Feb. 1 after serving as senior vice president and general manager of U.S. supply chain management for Broadband Services Inc. His career includes service in financial and operational roles in the United States and Europe for companies, such as Apple Computer and Storage Technology (StorageTek) Corp.

Kirwan takes the financial reins from Stephen G. Burke, who resigned, but will remain with Fischer during the transition. Fischer Imaging Controller Todd Shadewald also has resigned.
