Hologic names Cascella as president & COO

Hologic Inc. this week named Robert A. Cascella as president and COO, effective immediately. Cascella joined Hologic in February as COO. Before joining Hologic,

 Cascella previously served as a managing partner at the investment banking firm CFG Capital LLC (formerly Carolina Financial Securities), of Southport, Conn. Prior to CFG, he was COO and vice president of finance for NeoVision Corp., an early-stage medical technology company located in Seattle. Cascella also was with Fischer Imaging Corp. (Denver).
