iCAD granted patent for CAD lesion metrics solution

Image analysis and workflow solutions provider iCAD has been granted a patent-number 7,660,448, which will cover all future iterations of its SecondLook Digital computer-aided detection (CAD).

According to the Nashua, N.H.-based company, the cancer detection product incorporates CAD lesion metrics to provide clinicians with enhanced clinical analysis and information.

iCAD said it has 27 U.S. patents and 15 U.S. patent applications pending.
