InSight Health Services names new COO

InSight Health Services Holdings has appointed Bernie O’Rourke to the position of executive vice president and chief operating officer (COO).

O’Rourke has served as senior vice president and general manager, eastern division since March 28, 2006. He joined InSight in January 2005, initially as area vice president, enterprise operations. He has nine years of executive healthcare experience.

Kip Hallman, InSight’s president and CEO, said that O’Rourke has been effective at leading operations that include fixed and mobile, wholesale and retail, as well as significant joint ventures and partnerships.
