International financial executive joins Epocrates Board of Directors

Epocrates Inc., a provider of mobile and online clinical applications for healthcare professionals, announced the appointment of Patrick Jones to its board of directors. Jones will serve as chairman of the audit committee, which will oversee the financial controls and reporting practices of Epocrates. Jones' career has spanned over three decades of senior level financial and general management positions across an array of international and domestic technology companies.
