Levitt named VP of health IT at CSC

CSC has named David Levitt vice president of health information technology solutions (HITS) for its North American public sector (NPS) health services division.

Levitt will be responsible for developing new business with federal health agencies and positioning the Falls Church, Va.-based CSC to provide the new systems necessary to implement the reforms required by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Levitt has more than 30 years’ experience with CSC and served most recently as account director for the HITS business unit, including collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense Health Affairs, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and other federal agencies requiring health IT support, such as the Department of Labor. He has also contributed to the business unit's success in several healthcare engagements, including the Development Effort Consolidation Contract, a modernization project within CMS.
