NovaRad spotlights product lineup

RIS and PACS developer NovaRad of American Fork, Utah, highlighted its NovaPACS, NovaRIS, and NovaCardio PACS products at the 2008 HIMSS conference in Orlando, Fla.

The developer touted the latest enhancements to its portfolio, featuring the most current release of NovaCardio PACS.

The newest generation of the product has been bolstered with advanced storage management; advanced hanging protocols; a click-once web viewer, patient CD burning capabilities; cine tools with series thumbnails for drag and drop to cine views and auto cine when opening a study; non-DICOM capture and non-DICOM cine capture; automated physician reports; 3D cardio tools; ejection fraction and percent stenosis tools; as well as measuring and annotation tools.

In other news, the firm reported that clinics in Iowa, Oklahoma and West Virginia are the latest customers for its NovaPACS imaging and NovaRIS scheduling and billing technologies. The facilities include: Doctors Now Walk in Care in Johnston, Iowa; BNB Technology in Norman, Okla.; and Raleigh Regional Cancer Center in Beckley, W.Va.
