N.Y. rad practice taps McKesson for billing services

Park Avenue Associates in Radiology has selected McKesson RMS for coding and billing services for its radiology physician group and imaging centers.

The 15-physician group expects that McKesson RMS will seek to help the practice stabilize cash flow and strengthen compliance while providing financial reporting and claims support services, according to McKesson. The system also provides business metrics, including revenue per procedure and physician productivity, to help the group identify and act on operational trends.
