Partners Imaging names new VP of sales

Partners Imaging announced this week that Paul Kakis has taken over the role of vice president, sales, and will focus particularly on placing CT systems within physician offices. Kakis reports directly to CEO Michael C. Zucker.

Before joining Partners Imaging, Kakis held the position of director of Diagnostic CT for Philips Medical Systems where he managed a CT marketing team. In that period, the group gained 7 percent market share across all CT product lines in 2004 and earned a number of sales and marketing awards for the effort. He has more than 15 years of experience in diagnostic medical imaging sales, including CT and cardiovascular imaging.

Prior to joining Philips in 1997, Paul was the global director of marketing for DuPont-Sterling.
