RSNA: Ultrasound, PACS updates among GE’s offerings
GE Healthcare (Booth #5433) is showcasing its ultrasound portfolio and PACS updates at RSNA 2012 in Chicago, Nov. 25-30.
Among the ultrasound products to be highlighted are the LOGIQ E9, LOGIQ S8 and others in the LOGIQ family. Software tools include volume navigation and B-flow, according to GE.
IT offerings from GE to be shown at RSNA include additions to Centricity PACS and PACS-IW, which aligns advanced visualization, breast imaging and user tools in a unified desktop. Centricity Clinical Archive allows for cross-departmental information sharing and Centricity Radiology Mobile Access can be used to view imaging on tablets or other mobile devices.
For molecular imaging, GE is showing its Discovery line of scanners, including Discovery PET/CT 710, which includes tools for quantitative PET; Discovery PET/CT 610 and Discovery NM/CT 600 SPECT/CT system. Both the 710 and 610 are available with Q.Suite, which is designed to assist in making individualized treatment decisions.
In the CT space, GE is highlighting the Discovery CT750 HD FREEdom Edition, which includes motion correction technology; Optima CT660 FREEdom edition, a scalable system with motion correction technology and emergency room tools, and Optima CT540, which includes an updated user interface and iterative reconstruction technology.
GE also is showing Dexus, which embeds AW Server advanced visualization applications into PACS.
