Siemens updates Soarian Clinicals

Siemens Healthcare has released the latest version of Soarian Clinicals, an enterprise-wide healthcare information system.

A new Plan of Care functionality provides care teams with tools to implement a patient-specific collective care plan derived from best-evidence content, according to the company. Plan of Care provides tools and technologies to help customers monitor and measure their performance indicators and promote continuous improvements in quality and practice at the point of care.

In addition to Plan of Care, the latest Soarian Clinicals version also delivers enhancements to existing functionality, including Soarian Emergency Department, new Soarian Analytics & Reporting capabilities, wireless compatibility with Blackberry, and iPhone/iPod and expanded computerized provider order entry (CPOE) usability.
