SIIM: TeraRecon highlights iNuition capabilities

TeraRecon, a provider of advanced visualization and decision support, is demonstrating several aspects of its Aquarius iNtuition enterprise advanced visualization technology to imaging and informatics professionals attending the annual meeting of the Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) in Minneapolis this week.

According to the San Mateo, Calif.-based company, iNtuition provides auto-processing of images, thin-slice archive and distribution, reporting, PACS integration, combined research and clinical database support and EMR integration.

Also, TeraRecon said that iNtuition achieves quantitative interpretation with online RadLex lookup for terminology and export of results using the Annotation Image Markup schema, delivering quantitative results to EMRs. Referring physicians can subsequently review these workflow scenes that have been created during the interpretation via the SSL-secure AquariusWeb web viewer software.
