SonoSite appoints executive sales and marketing team for U.S., Europe and Japan
SonoSite Inc. has named four people to lead its worldwide sales and marketing efforts.
The company named Edison C. Russell as senior vice president of U.S. sales and marketing. Russell most recently served as vice president of sales for Immunex Corp. and will coordinate all sales and marketing in the United States.
Daniel S. Walton has been named vice president of enterprise markets. Walton joined SonoSite in 2000. He is credited with increasing U.S. sales by more than 50 percent in 2003.
Graham D. Cox has become vice president of European sales. Cox, formerly general manager at SonoSite, joined the company in 1999 and has been responsible for developing its sales and distribution infrastructure in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Tomo Hasegawa is SonoSite's senior director for Japan-International Operations. Hasegawa joins SonoSite from Philips Medical Systems and will be responsible for SonoSite's operations in Japan, including its subsidiary, SonoSite Japan KK, and distributor relationships.
