Vital Images CEO joins MITA's board of directors

Advanced visualization and analysis software developer Vital Images has announced that its president and CEO, Michael Carrel, will be serving on the Medical Industry Technology Alliance's (MITA) board of directors.

In his new role, Carrel will help MITA--a division of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association--to interact with appropriate government agencies on reimbursement and technology assessment policies, stated the Minneapolis-based company.
