Vital Images, Cerner expand partnership

Advanced visualization company Vital Images has expanded its affiliation with Cerner, and has integrated its Vitrea Enterprise Suite with the Cerner Millennium platform.

According to Vital, of Minnetonka, Minn., Cerner’s Millennium platform continues to advance the digitization of individual EHRs to meet the needs of care providers, support professionals and healthcare consumers.

The expanded partnership will allow thousands of physicians using Millennium applications to obtain universal access to a unified platform within Vitrea Enterprise, including cardiac, colon, lung, oncology and vascular clinical applications, Vital added.
