Abbotts vascular business posts strong Q2 revenues

Healthcare product and device developer Abbott’s vascular business unit showed double-digit gains in U.S. sales and triple-digit gains in international sales for its fiscal 2007 second quarter, end-June 30.

For the period, Abbott Vascular posted revenues of $223 million in U.S. business, a 30.6 percent increase compared with the second quarter of fiscal 2006. International business for the vascular division saw a 126.1 percent growth rate for the quarter, to $200 million compared with the same period last year.
