Advocate Condell unveils $87M cardiac center

Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Ill. is opening a new $87 million, five-story tower which will offer a full spectrum of cardiac care on April 18.

In addition to the heart and vascular center, the 175,000-square-foot tower has 72 private adult patient rooms and also houses nuclear medicine, physical therapy and rehabilitation centers.

Robert Kummerer, MD, a heart surgeon at Advocate Condell Medical Center, stressed that, “all the vital cardiovascular services our patients could need, including diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation, are available in this building”.
