AG Mednet Partners with Leading German CRO for Efficient Clinical Trial Data Management

The increasing importance and number of radiological images in clinical trials has raised technical and methodological issues for CROs globally. To make trials more efficient and ensure compliance, syneed medidata GmbH, an independent CRO in Germany, has signed a Master Services Agreement with Boston’s AG Mednet.

A full-service CRO, syneed medidata manages, designs, monitors and reports on all aspects of clinical-research trials including patient enrollment and participation. Through this partnership, syneed medidata will use AG Mednet’s system to collect imaging data and dramatically reduce the amount of queries returned for correction or re-scanning.

“Our customers expect state-of-the-art services for all areas of trial planning, preparation, conduct and analysis,” said Achim Zinggrebe, CEO of syneed medidata GmbH. “Working with AG Mednet ensures that the global transfer of imaging data is as efficient and accurate as all other services we offer.”

“Germany currently conducts a large portion of the clinical trials in Europe and is taking a leadership role in introducing advanced technology to improve efficiency and data quality,” said Abraham Gutman, president and CEO of AG Mednet. “As a fully integrated European CRO with imaging core lab services, syneed medidata presents a unique level of service integration across multiple therapeutic areas. We look forward to collaborating on our current and future trials together.”
