Family has three generations attending college at the same time, youngest working toward career in imaging

Three generations of the same family are attending Southern Illinois University Carbondale at the same time, and one of them is training to work in medical imaging.

A post on the Southern Illinois University website reported that Marian Smith, her daughter (Arianne Smith), and her granddaughter (Cierra Smith) are all currently full-time students at the university.

Cierra Smith explained that she was impressed by the school’s four-year radiologic sciences program and she wants to be a radiology technologist once she graduates.
