Toshiba offers imaging online resource for patients

Toshiba America Medical Systems has launched myimagingexam.com, an educational resource for patients receiving diagnostic imaging exams.

The website will provides educational tools and information regarding women’s imaging, pediatric imaging, patient comfort and CT radiation dose for patients to download and use with their physician prior to undergoing a medical imaging exam to understand the imaging process and manage their own healthcare, according to Tustin, Calif.-based company.

Educational tools available for download will include a patient imaging history card, questions to ask the doctor before the exam, as well as a chart that showcases common medical imaging exams and uses, said Toshiba.
