Toshiba, UNC physicians demonstrate Infinix-i FPD images at TCT 2004
Toshiba America Medical Systems (TAMS) and physicians from the University of North Carolina (UNC) Hospitals have presented unique data from Toshiba's Infinix CC-i series triple-axis mounted cardiac cath lab this week at the 2004 Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) conference, in Washington. Meeting goers have witnessed at Toshiba's booth images and data from an Infinix CC-i at UNC Hospitals.
Toshiba's new cardiac flat-panel detector (FPD) is a field-upgradeable component for the Infinix-i series that offers optimal image quality and dose benefits. The system provides distortion-free cardiac imaging and provides high-resolution dynamic imaging for faster and more accurate cardiovascular interventional and diagnostic exams.
"Toshiba's Infinix-i series with FPD is constantly evolving to meet the clinical demands of today's interventional radiologists and physicians," said Don Volz, director, Vascular X-ray Business Unit, TAMS. "The routine use of our C-panel FPD has led to consistently faster and more accurate diagnoses and planning for interventions."
