Vital integrates with Sectra PACS
Sectra has signed an agreement with the Minneapolis-based Vital Images under which Sectra will be able to integrate Vital Images’ Vitrea software as part of Sectra PACS.
The Swedish-based Sectra said its PACS is built on an open interface allowing smooth integration of third-party clinical applications.
Under the terms of the agreement, Vital Images’ clinical applications, such as virtual colonoscopy, vessel analysis and cardiac imaging will be available to Sectra’s customers as fully-integrated software and the tools set will be accessible from within the PACS user’s reading environment, according to Sectra.
