AFC introduces Deluxe Ergo Tier Cart
AFC Industries debuted its Deluxe Ergo Tier Cart, which combines a height-adjustable, single-tier workstation with a new, flexible flat panel monitor platform, during the 2008 Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) annual meeting at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center in Seattle.
The workstation has pop-up data ports and built-in USB ports embedded in the desktop. It also has electronic tilting capabilities for the work surface at a position tilt of up to 15 degrees and electronic forward and backward movement of the monitors. Two independent work surfaces can be adjusted by height from 28 inches to 47 inches above the floor, according to the College Point, N.Y.-based AFC.
Multiple users can share the same workstation at one time and each workstation is available in lengths from 48 inches to 84 inches with optional T-molding edging, table-mount arms, CPU holders and top illumination, the company said.
