Connect Imaging debuts software for Fujifilm?s digital mammo systems

Connect Imaging has introduced new software for use with Fujifilm Medical Systems USA computed radiography mammography (FCRm) systems.

According to Philip J. Manly, CEO of Connect Imaging, the company developed its newest module, called VCM Port, to address an issue the company identified while validating its PACS for use with an FCRm installed at a client’s site.

Manly said that Fujifilm fully validated the VCM Port software and the company now offers it for use with its FCRms.

Users of an FCRm system also may purchase the software directly from Connect Imaging, according to the Honolulu-based company.
