EMC unveils Celerra NX4

EMC has released its EMC Celerra NX4, a new entry point to the Celerra series of unified storage systems.

The unified storage platform can be deployed in NAS (network attached storage), iSCSI and Fibre Channel SAN (storage area network) environments, according to the Hopkinton, Mass.-based company.

EMC said the Celerra NX4 is suited for small- to medium-sized businesses and remote offices looking to consolidate distributed file servers and storage onto a single platform. It supports up to 60 terabytes of capacity and is configurable with up to 60 high-capacity SATA disk drives and/or high-performance SAS drives.
