Integrated Modular showcases RIS for small, medium imaging centers

Integrated Modular Systems (IMSI), a RIS and PACS systems integrator, showcased its imsiView.RIS, now available for small- to medium-size imaging centers and clinics, during the 2008 Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) meeting in Seattle.

Scheduling, structured reporting, billing, film digitizing, media production, 3D viewing, orthopedic templating, dual-monitor high-resolution viewing, DICOM Mail, query/retrieve and a modality work list are available in the integrated system configuration, according to the Havertown, Pa.-based IMSI.

The features may be combined with the imsiImageWebGate portal to provide controlled image distribution with reports as well as HIPAA-compliant archiving, business continuity and disaster recovery. The portal is a remote hosting site with 24/7 system vitals monitoring, the company said.
