Sony Medical (26029) is showing printers and other peripherals for digital cardiac imaging, including the UP-D77MD model color dye-sublimation DICOM imager with 300-dpi letter size output; the UP-D74XRD DICOM high-speed 8 x 10-inch monochrome digital imager, which can be used in ultrasound, as well as mobile c-arm and x-ray applications; and the FilmStation dry film imager.

Sony is also showing its DVO-1000MD, a medical-grade DVD recorder with a built-in hard drive and a range of workflow-enhancing features. The device’s DVOFAST recording technology allows the removal of a recorded disk in less than two minutes.
