Toshiba Teli debuts LCD with HD for video endoscopy

Toshiba Teli America has introduced the T24MSA001-MD medical-grade 24-inch LCD color widescreen monitor for applications such as diagnostic analysis, video endoscopy and surgery. 

The new monitor also offers 800:1 contrast, 500 candelas per square meter (cd/m2) brightness, and the versatility of PIP/POP functionality. It is pole- or wall-mountable using standard Vesa brackets, according to the Irvine, Calif.-based company.
   
Toshiba Teli said that with a fast response time, a 178-degree viewing angle and 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, the T24MSA001-MD is ideal for real-time display of EKGs, EEGs, x-ray and other dynamic medical images such as bed-side monitoring.

The Toshiba Teli T24MSA001-MD is UL60601 approved for medical applications.
