Virginia hospital hires FRG for imaging services

Foundation Radiology Group (FRG) has signed a contract with R.J. Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital in Stuart, Va., through which FRG will become its exclusive provider of diagnostic imaging services, effective Aug. 1.

The Pittsburgh-based FRG said its board-certified radiologists are available 24/7/365 to provide readings in muscularskeletal radiology, neuroradiology, mammography, cardiac CT, interventional radiology, pediatric radiology, brain perfusion, vascular ultrasound, OB/GYN ultrasound and general radiology.

R.J. Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed critical access and 25-bed skilled nursing facility, which offers healthcare services, including 24-hour emergency service, acute care, hospice care, occupational health services and a radiology department with advanced diagnostic testing procedures.
