Agfa HealthCare awarded new contract to provide full suite of enterprise imaging solutions to Novation customers

Agfa HealthCare announces today it has been awarded a new contract to provide a full spectrum of radiology, cardiology and enterprise imaging solutions to Novation, a leading healthcare supply chain expertise and contracting services company.

The three-year agreement is effective May 1, 2013 through April 30, 2016 extending the working relationship of more than nine years between Novation and Agfa HealthCare. Included in the extensive list of radiology and cardiology IT products now available to the members served by Novation are the following highlighted solutions:

IMPAX 6.5 - PACS system designed to streamline enterprise workflow and deliver increased efficiency and productivity to care facilities.

IMPAX RIS - Electronically manages radiology operations, IMPAX RIS streamlines processes and procedures within the radiology department and beyond.

IMPAX Business Intelligence - Optimizes the use of clinical, business and administrative data to enhance efficiency.

ICIS (Imaging Clinical Information System) - The enterprise imaging workflow-centric services platform, ICIS delivers multi-disciplinary imaging in patient-centric context via the EMR to drive powerful clinical advances and IT efficiencies.

XERO Viewer - Based on innovative, no-application download technology, Agfa HealthCare's XERO enterprise imaging viewer is a technological breakthrough that allows any clinical user to view patient images, regardless of department or region of origin, at any time from any web-enabled device.

IMPAX CV12 - A next generation integrated CVIS for cardiology departments with multiple modalities, IMPAX CV12 simplifies data collection and management throughout the workflow.

IMPAX HeartStation ECG Management System - Comprehensive data management solution that automates the processing and storage of ECGs.

IMPAX for Breast Imaging - Facilitates reporting workflow in digital breast imaging environments.
