Calif. medical center to deploy Merge suite

Huntington Memorial Hospital has selected Merge PACS and the iConnect Enterprise Clinical Platform.

The Pasadena, Calif., hospital will use the systems to image-enable its hospital inpatient EHR as well as its community health information exchange.

Merge's iConnect Enterprise Clinical Platform offers a system for collecting, archiving, viewing, sharing and exchanging any type of image. It includes iConnect Access, a DICOM image and XDS server; iConnect Share, a gateway for image sharing across the enterprise; and iConnect Enterprise Archive, a vendor-neutral archive, explained Chicago-based Merge.
