Digisonics brings latest in Enterprise PACS and Structured Reporting Solutions to HIMSS 2015

HOUSTON (March 25, 2015) – Digisonics (Booth #1852), a leading integrator/provider of Enterprise PACS and Structured Worksheets/Reporting Systems, will showcase its latest offerings to streamline reporting workflow and improve overall turnaround times at this year’s HIMSS Conference in Chicago, Ill. Digisonics structured reporting solutions offer integration with advanced quantification and image analysis software vendors such as Philips, GE, Medis and INVIA and voice recognition systems such as Nuance Powerscribe for streamlined workflow. A single mouse click launches the 3rd party advanced image analysis software directly from a clinical study on the Digisonics workstation. The post processed images may be stored as AVI or DICOM files to Digisonics or other PACS systems for further review or long-term archiving. The voice recognition system integration enables clinicians to dictate their study findings as they normally would, with the summary automatically sent to the Digisonics structured report, improving their workflow efficiency. Clinicians are encouraged to BYOD – Bring Your Own Device, for use with WebView 4.0, a universal viewer application. This application addresses the emerging mobile workflow requirements in healthcare by providing zero footprint image and report review from HTML5 supported browsers and devices including PC, Mac, iPads and tablets. There is no need for ActiveX or other plugins and no patient health information is retained on the viewing device. DigiConnect enables users to seamlessly launch 3rd party systems such as PACS, EMR/HIS and ECG management Software directly from an active patient exam within the Digisonics workstation. Clinicians benefit from the convenience of a single sign-on as user credentials and patient information are passed directly to the 3rd party systems. DigiServ is a multi-site server that provides storage and communication management for the most complex health care system. DigiServ provides real-time communication between all hospital sites while maintaining patient reports on an independent server at each site and in DigiServ’s Main Data Center. Once a study has been finalized at a local site, it is distributed to all of the other sites within the DigiServ environment and a copy is maintained on the local server until the study is safely archived in the Main Data Center. Other features include a comprehensive auto-restore function and an automatic reconciliation process for transmitting DICOM studies between sites. About Digisonics, Inc.Digisonics provides top-rated clinical image management and structured reporting systems for cardiovascular (CVIS), radiology, and obstetrics & gynecology. Digisonics structured reporting solutions combine high performance image review workstations, a powerful PACS image archive, an integrated clinical database, comprehensive analysis capabilities and highly configurable reporting for multiple modalities.
